Wedding bands are designed for long-term wear, but finger size can naturally change over time due to temperature, lifestyle, pregnancy, weight changes, or aging.
Most wedding bands can be resized within a reasonable range (usually 1–2 sizes up or down), depending on the design.
Plain bands are the easiest to resize.
Rings with stones, engraving, unusual profiles, or full eternity settings may have resizing limitations or require more complex work.
Multiple resizes over a lifetime may leave very subtle signs of alteration—this is normal and part of a well-loved piece.
If your ring ever feels too tight or too loose, stop wearing it and consult a jeweller rather than forcing it on or off.
For best results, resizing should always be done by the original maker to preserve the structure and finish of your ring.
