From engagement rings to wedding bands, or simply that one special occasion, we make that journey together with you to craft a piece that can translate that unique experience into your jewelry.
The Commission Process
The process of creating an original piece of jewelry can be exciting, and we want to make the process as easy as possible for you.
First Consultation
On your first consultation, we will take the time to learn more about you and your story in order to better understand what you are looking for in your piece.
In addition, we will share with you information about various metal types, gemstone varieties, or metalsmith techniques that might be helpful for your commission consideration during this meeting.
In some cases, clients who have seen our previous work will only need a single consultation when they already know what they want.
Second Consultation
Typically, projects that are slightly more complex will require a second consultation to finalize some details before you make the final decision.
This is the stage where we will go through gemstones selection, technical specifications, and cost with you before scheduling your project into our production schedule.
Depending on the type of project, you might receive mock-up sketches of your order after the confirmation.
Production Stage
Once your order is confirmed, it will be put into our production schedule.
In this production stage, we may send you photos of the prototype, depending on the project.
The average waiting time can range from 3-6 months as we limit the number of commission pieces our artisans work on each month in order to maintain a high standard of quality.
Collection & Resizing
We typically schedule collection of your rings at least 2-4 weeks before your special event so that we can arrange any resizing or other unforeseen circumstances in plenty of time.
All commission pieces come with a one-time free resizing aftercare - so you don't have to worry about the fit.
